uppo 0 Posted January 29, 2016 Hi all. I'm installing additional IR lights for my system and wanting to know how many amps I need. Budgets is tight so I don't really want to spend more then I have too. iv used replacement LED boards that you use in dome style cameras . Each have 48 LEDs. Iv constructed two housing an each housing contains 5 of these LEDs boards. So 10 LED board in total. I plan on powering these lights from there own power supply . How many amps do I need before I start losing power to the lights? Iv got a 12v / 3amp switching power supply Iv been testing various lighting ideas with. Would this be enough to power my lights?
