Are HD View Trybrid dvrs any good?

Recommended Posts

I am considering buying an HDView® 12CH Tribrid DVR I am looking for a DVR that has alarm imputes and can play back multiple videos at the same time.

http://www.amazon.com/HDView%C2%AE-12CH-Tribrid-Protection-Commercial/dp/B012U4JVOO/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1458429856&sr=8-7&keywords=12+ch+hd

sorry to ask such a general question but,, Do you think this one is good?

Hi. If you have no cameras to start with then you are wasting money going tribrid. Hybrid and tribrid are used to upgrade using old system cameras and mixing with IP.

If your starting a new system then either go IP or CVI or TVI

I do plan to use older cheaper cameras, but I would also like to have a couple great cameras such as a 50mm license plate reader (:

I want to know if there is a better option in this price range?
