Hikvision 7616 - remote access

Recommended Posts

Hello folks,

I've been trying to configure remote access / ddns with no luck.

My local ISP uses http port 80 for remote access so I've changed my configuration to 8080.

Can check with www.canyouseeme.org/ that ports 8080 (http), 8000 (server) and 554 (rtsp) are opened. The Hik ddns configuration works so it redirects to my WAN ip address / port 8080. But still can't open anything on my browser.

If I change to my LAN ip address / port http://192.168.0.130:8080 it opens the Hikvision login page.

Any toughs on where should I look for?

Br,

Fernando

Your router does NOT support NAT loopback.

So you can only access your HiDDNS domain from outside your wan. Try connecting from another place, you will not be able to connect to http://www.hik-online.com/whatever from inside the network where the DVR resides.

hopefully the mod will get rid of this spammer I agree if you have some advice you give it on the forum. I would not give access to my computer/DVR to an unknown source willingly. Also threats seem a bit out of place on the forum. Tom has given out a lot of valuable advise over the years and it is appreciated.

Thank you for that jeromephone. Like you as a long term member we like to help free and it's what keeps the forum a place for others to get free help.

We don't need dishonest spammers at all ..... And this one has shown his bad side ...... But let's keep him on a little longer then others can see who he really is
