Hello everyone,

for me it is not possible to connect the VTO and VTH.

I Also tried to connect it via Asterisk but I do not understand what you guys are doing it.

So I have an VTO200a wit version 4.0 running on it and an VTH I think 15ch I do not know the exact name. On the VTH is running a firmware version 4.3

So it would be nice if someone could told me how to connect the VTO and VTH.

And it would be perfect if someone could show me how to connect the VTO with asterisk and using it with the Fritzbox and VTH

Thank you,

Lukas

I guess you did not get it, what a forum is for:classic_huh:

If you find someone who takes you by the hand and does all the work for you, pls. let me know too...?

I suggest you do some asterisk/freePBX tut's first, read this thread from the beginning and then once again. If you still don't know what it is all about, ask your local dealer for help.

HI There,

i have done this. And I am nearly finished it. My problem now is that I cannot connect the VTO to the Asterisk. I created an new Extension with 8002 (My Station number) and configure it in my VTO but it do not connect.

So,

I found the issue. when using FreePBX Distro 7 u have to leave the field realm empty.

New problem. It seams that I have no possibility to talk. That means that either the VTO or asterisk end the call. If I pressed the button all exstention are rining but when I pick up the call I cannot talk.

Hi all,

I know this is an old question, but could someone please confirm that VTO(FW v3) and VTH (FW v3) works fine with audio and video if using asterisk in between ?

I used  sip.conf and extension.conf from gerdshi on page 1 and tried a lot of other things but I still cannot get a video connection when accepting a call from VTO :(

- VTH(v3) -> asterisk(v15) -> VTO(v3)    -> fine with audio and video :classic_smile:

- VTO(v3) -> asterisk(v15) -> VTH(v3)    -> I can see video BEFORE accepting the call, but as soons as I accept the call video disappears and does not come back (as described by gerdshi) :(

Somebody has this simple setup running fine?

Thanks

Well, at my home it works with v4.3 fw on VTH5221, v3 on VTO and asterisk 11.

If you add asterisk logs (sip set debug on), then we might get a clue on what's wrong. Also add relevant sections of sip.conf.

I use sip.conf and extension.conf from gerdshi

extension.conf

[general]
static=yes
writeprotect=no

[ausgehend]
exten => _9901,1,Set(CALLERID(name)=VTO2000A)
exten => _9901,n,Dial(Local/alle@tfe-zuhause,50,w)
exten => _8001,1,Dial(SIP/8001,50,w)

[tfe-zuhause]
exten =>  alle,1,Ringing()
exten =>  alle,n,Dial(SIP/9902,50,w)

[default]
include => ausgehend

sip.conf

[general]
language=de
bindport = 5060
bindaddr = 0.0.0.0
srvlookup=yes
directmedia=yes
videosupport=yes

[8001]
host=dynamic
username=VTO2000A ;it is important that in VTO as RELAM are set asterisk!
type=friend
secret=xxxx
context=ausgehend
canreinvite=yes
qualify=yes
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
allow=h264

[9902]
type=friend
username=9902
secret=xxxx
context=ausgehend
dtmfmode=rfc2833
host=dynamic
canreinvite=yes
qualify=yes
allow=ulaw
allow=h264

Debug Log is attached.

Any hint would be cool :classic_smile:

I would add videosupport, allow alaw for all stations (european standard coding) and set dtmfmode to sip info (opening the door will be possible from sip pohones). But that has nothing to do with your problem.

[19]
type=friend
host=dynamic
secret=xxxx
qualify=yes
language=de
username=19
callerid="Haustuer" <19>
disallow=all
canreinvite=no
allow=h264
allow=alaw
allow=ulaw
videosupport=yes
insecure=invite
dtmfmode=info

For diagnosis I would make it easier first, remove 9901 and different context stuff and let VTO call directly to VTH 9902. Also attach "sip show peers" to make analysis easier.

Hello,
I ask you for advice
I would like to buy a vto2000 + Rfid pad
I would like to integrate it with my home automation system (OpenHab) and answer the intercom via the GDMSS app
So I would like the VTO to work without VTH and without SIP server.

1) It is possible?
2) Alternatively, is it possible to make the VTO be the sip server and use an android app (sip client) like Linphone? VTO can do only voice sip call or also video sip call?

3) Which version of the VTO2000 should I buy? I saw that there is also a 2-wire version

Hi I need some help with connecting a Dahuna Door Station to a Panasonic NS700 with Sip extension setup. Not really sure on the correct model video door station but its using the Web Service2,0 to log onto it. Software version of the outdoor station is V4.3. There is no indoor video display customer receives the video on their mobile.

I am not really sure how you connect the Door station to the NS700 but the system has the necessary licences for sip setup.

I didn't install the video door station but I am left to set it up on the pbx.

Could somebody point me in the correct direction on this install please

If you have ever set up any SIP device, then it should not be a big deal to configure stn-number, server ip, port, username+pw in the VTO's webif in section "Netwok Settings".

If you don't know how to set up a SIP port your pabx (NS700?), then you might have more luck in a panasonic pabx forum .

Thanks I will give it a go again no problem in setting sip on the ns700

Changing the ringtones is possible with fireware up to version 3. You need to unpack and repack the fireware as discribed in the beginning of this thread.

Starting with firmware version 4 unpacking is not possible anymore, so changing the ringtones is also not possible anymore.

Not sure, but I guess it is the same here as for question 1 ;)

Ok. Did not find this very old one, but why not tryin another 3.1 FW "General_Multi3_VTH1510_EngRusItlFreGerDutSpaPor_P_V3.100.0000.0.R.20170401", which is just slightly newer and easy to find?

Hi

On January 2019, on this same thread, I posted my successful attempt to update my VTO2000A firmware to version 4.000.0000000.5.R.20181030.

Today I noticed that a new version was available (4.300.0000000.1.R.20190305) and tried to update the firmware again.

As you can see I can access the VTO2000A using a browser at IP 10.0.5.245:

Chrome.thumb.png.be02d61e661dbdb60e3351e509009513.png

But no matter the version of ConfigTool I use, I never reach the Upgrade button to start the process.

For instance, version 5.000.0000000.2 do not find any device:

ConfigTool_v5_000_0000000.2.thumb.png.5daaa32536659890b8fb33fd5df92c0a.png

Version 5.000.0000000.0 finds the VTO2000A in the "Modify IP" tab...

ConfigTool_v5_000_0000000.0_Modify_IP.thumb.png.445550a959aa09621a55d529d9250b10.png

... but not in the "Upgrade" tab:

ConfigTool_v5_000_0000000.0_Upgrade.thumb.png.f4c5f48d7168f1aa4fe4f61b1ba726b3.png

Even using older versions like the 4.09.0, my device is not detected:

ConfigTool_v4_09.0.png.b3088abeef4e4420cdca52fb5ada1fe9.png

The only one that allowed me to reach the upgrade stage was version 3.20.0 but only if I specify the IP:

ConfigTool_v3_20.0.png.3d1e058988ad28b9909f76ae8d458b0f.png

But unfortunately after choosing the desired firmware bin file the process gives me an error:

ConfigTool_v3_20.0_Upgrade_Error.png.8fb0ba956d2a034ad260416cfc1daee2.png

I read that the new Windows 10 can have so problems detecting the devices, so I repeated these tests in a Windows 7 machine with the same results!

So, what is going on???

Why I can not upgrade my current firmware?

Any suggestion is welcome!

Many thanks.
