Protect hdd

Hello,

I have a dahua nvr with 12 ip camera,and every few mounth, the hdd fail and start biping ,and a message " no disc " appear on screen,i need help to choose the best hdd quality to support that trafic,and work more,i used sata samsung and sagate and all are stoping  juste a few time of working...some ideas friends.thank

Hi, are you using a surveillance hard drive right??? make sure its a western digital purple or seagate skyhawk or toshiba video, these are the three main brands for cctv hard drives.

Hi there is nothing wrong with your hard drive. 

It sounds like you don’t have overwrite enabled 

so when your hard drive is full it will beep and no longer display ... this is to protect the data on drive. 

Enable overwrite and it will delete old for new data
