Struggling to set up 🤦‍♂️

So I’ve purchased a sunluxy H.264 Network DVR and I’m having trouble trying to set it up to even view camera on  arc or monitor or phone I don’t know if I need to do it on a computer etc no good with these things if some can help be very very appreciated even if a WhatsApp call is needed to walk me through it thanks guys

Is this a new system or secondhand …. Sunluxy stopped h264 only in 2014

 

how have you connected dvr to monitor ?

you should at least have a picture up

It didn’t let me upload pic said it was too large and it has a vga connector so I bought a vga to hdmi

It didn’t let me upload pic said it was too large and it has a vga connector so I bought a vga to hdmi

So it’s vga connector end in the dvr and then a hdmi to tv the h.264 doesn’t have a hdmi port

Hi sounds like a pre 2014 dvr you have

converting vga to hdmi could be your problem as they never work right

usually a tv with hdmi will also have vga but it’s marked up as PC connection 

take a look on tv menu when you press the source button PC will be listed if it has one

as far as spending more money on an old h264 vga unit that’s over 8 years old 

you will find it cheaper to change recorder than spending money on converters

So just buy a newer dvr? Do you have any links ones I can still use same camera on please?

I have 4 cameras i know holmfirth you local then pal? That’s about 25 mile from me

Hi I am in Chester I was in holmfirth doing a quick job

my sister lives in bingley so get up there a few times

i surgest a 5 in 1 dvr as it takes all formats of cameras old and new plus iP cameras so it will last you a few years
