Dread73 0 Posted January 18, 2023 Hi Guys, Just real quick - Do the Hikvision IP cameras NEED to plug directly into the Hikvision DS-7616NI-I2 16 Channel PoE NVR ports directly, or can I plug them into POE switches scattered about the site and the NVR will pick them up fine via the LAN? The NVR is going to go into a network where a PC has been setup with some Hikvision software to monitor all of the existing Hikvision IP cameras scattered around the site.
