Tally1001 0 Posted August 9, 2023 Hi All, I have a Hikvision DVR-208Q-F1 and one of my cameras a HIKVISION HILOOK THC-T223-M TURRET CAMERA WITH 50M IR which keeps either going dark or not on the system at all , I have moved to a free port on the DVR and the fault moves with it so its not the DVR, its coax fed, Question is will it be the camera or the cable thats faulty, is it possible to test the coax or does the fault seem to be a camera issue. tomcctv 190 Posted August 9, 2023 Hi it could be a few things how are you powering the camera …. Size of power supply and also the distance from camera to power supply is it on its own power supply or are there others attached to it that recorder is very limited to what you can run on it hence why hikvision budgets range it’s a $50 unit channels 1 and 2 are the only channels you can use 3mp max on the rest are 1.3 and 2mp also do you have it set to tvi ?
