Guess the answers will completely differ according the market you try to sell in.

Retail will have other requirements than mobile applications or casinos have.

Which market segment are you looking at?

I would say reliability without it what good is network capability, hi resolution, high frame rates or low prices.

Hi,i think the importantant feature of DVR is just like you said:resolution, recording speed, network function, reliability.

But i would like to supply another points:real-time video and audio compression, support maximum 64 channels ,support motion detection, support double encoding.

Could you please explain 'double encoding'

Do you mean variable bit rate encoding?

What codec are you using?

Hi,pfred, thank you for your attention on my information.

"double encoding" can support two encoding stream, one is used to disk

storage and the other for network transmission, which can reduce the

request on network brandwidth.

we use TI chip, and H.264 compression technology

Gracef,

Do the two streams have different bitrate?

Which H.264 codec are you using?

Is it TI SDK codec or someone elses?
