Viewing Remotely

Recommended Posts

Hello There Chaps !

First thing is keepup the good work with the forum!!!

I dont post much but ! but the post are a top notch read and reading the

info has given vasts amount of Knowledge !! Thanks to all ! Respect !!!!!

I have what 1 of you guys would class as straight forward to deal with but here goes !

I have set 16 cams over Rj45 back to standalone Pc dvr System, now i have remote access with all computers (9) internally through router !

all port forwarding done and firewall unrestricted to relavent ports !!

Now i can not dial in from my home p.c just to clarify functioning across cyber space !!

tried a few different viewing software ! NONE connecting !

I was told that this could be achieved through Browser typed in search bar

in this format eg: 81.71.226.223:9000

that to me would see i.p address then port to forward to !

What have i missed any help from you guys would be gratley appreciated !

and is the browser bit true and is that correct format if so !

Many Thanks

Is your router set first to respond to port 9000 and then connect that to the correct port on the DVR PC's LAN IP address?
