    Hi I have just purchased a 4ch DVR (similar or clone of Sunluxy I think - its called Hview). I have found how to configure the admin password and motion detection areas using the DVR itself and the remote control, but can this be done via a PC ? I ask as I am not near the DVR itself and working remotely via a VPN. I have tried the CMS application, web browsing to the DVR and also android and IOS apps but cannot find either anywhere to change the password or configure the motion detection areas. Any help appreciated Thanks Richard

    Thanks for the reply, I'll take a look at those low energy lights. Hi richuk. i think you are looking at your problem in the wrong way. you have installed cctv to protect and for domestic use night time is when you need it most. instead of switching off your protection why not just install a ECO light below your camera with built in dusk till dawn sensor. ECO lights are what $10 a year to run. how much was your cctv system. does not make sence to switch any part off at night.

    Hi I am running a KPD674 with 3 cameras, one of which hasnt got a great night time view due to it being high up and the LEDs not being too powerful. This means that at night I get many false detection alerts. Is there a way to disable just the one channel for night time motion detection? I know I can disable all of them in the DVR/Record Timer section but I want the others to still record. Thanks Richard

    Hi I have purchased an AVtech KPD674 and installed firmare (1039-1014-1017-1016) onto it. Everything is good, but I have a couple of questions I'm hoping someone will know the answer to. 1. In the area motion detection screen where I select which blocks on the screen are to be used in motion detection, I was expecting to see the blocks change colour when motion is detected but I dont. I see the yellow man come up when motion is detected but would like to know which block is generating the motion detection. 2. I have enabled pre-alarm motion but how do I set how long the unit records for when motion is detected? Thanks Richard
