  1. Wow, thanks very much. I searched my brains out and did not find these, guess I don't know the right keywords. At first glance this looks perfect, much appreciated! Thanks, Barry
  2. Thanks for the help. The Axis and Avigilon products look like very industrial strength solutions. I'm looking for something that's a more integrated and consumer/residential product. By integrated I mean that I don't need a separate PC to run server/video management software, I'd rather have a single box that does all the encoding, recording, web viewing and FTP upload. Sorry I did not mention that before. Any recommendations? Thanks, Barry
  3. I have a pair of ChannelVision CV-6127 outdoor dome cameras on my home, and would like to connect them to a system that will convert the video to digital and upload to an FTP service. If it recorded to a local HDD that would be good too. I am thinking about using http://www.cameraftp.com/ as the FTP service. It would be preferable to also be able to watch real-time video via mobile device or web browser either at home or remotely. I would also prefer to not use Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox is OK. Can anyone give me a suggestion as to what sort of video server product I should buy? I may add another camera or 2, so a 4-channel server would suffice. Also, does anyone use cameraftp.com and does that seem like a good site to use for video upload? Thanks very much, Barry
