My home is a standard 1600 SF Rambler with a detached shop on a quarter acer in a residential neighborhood. I have a 6' cedar fence around the back yard and my little wood shop. I installed a Fortress Home Security System for all door window on for my house shop and shed. I also installed a Q-See QT5716 DVR/ 8 camera package with QD6531 PTZ. I quickly realized that you get what you pay for with PTZ's. So I recently stepped up to the plate and bought two Pelco Spectra IV SE 27x Outdoor Dome PTZ's. I started getting way over my head with these cams. . I installing one of the Pelco Spectra's last weekend. My first question here would be about control of the Pelco PTZ. My goal was to have it "auto track" I really hopped that I would hook it up and that it would follow people around my back yard and then send an alarm to my system. Par for the course LOL! SOOOO My first question here would be about PTZ controllers? My funds for my little project have started to become limited so I was looking at the lower priced models. Last of which are listed below. VC-8X02 , Speed Dome Control Keyboard For PTZ controller sold on amazon by ussecuritysolutions Ranyou 4 axis? Rioland 3 axis GW 3 axis? My first choice would be the new full function Pelco KBD300A but the problem is that I have NO IDEA WHAT I'M PAYING FOR? ANY ADVICE OR IMPUT HERE WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! Thanks In Advance!

A year ago I would've have thought CCTV was a station. Since this past summer my family went from rarely ever locking our doors. After coming up with missing items around our house. To my shop getting robbed, we learned rather quickly that these were not just some kids messing around. The final straw was finding that they had come into our home, while my family and our two dog were all sleeping. I have since found that we have some pretty bad people in the neighborhood right behind our house causing major havoc around our little town. I've since spent many hours on the net and I keep ending up back at this site. I figured that it's about time to start asking some newb questions.
