hi advice please if possible

hello . i am looking for a bit of advice off an expert on cctv if possible this would be great.

i am trying to install a cccv 4 camera system hd with dvr .

the make is maxx digital hawk .

i have got cameras working but cannot view on my windows 10 pc with the downloaded program that goes with this dvr.

i have set a static ip address . ( which i set from default ) which i can ping and is port forward which also ( i changed from default) that said client port on the dvr

i have set as 8080( default ) the http port ..( do i port forward this aswell .

it is as far as i can get ..i cannot connect remote either ..

i am really stuck now ... alll i get is a blank screen on the surveillance client program ..

i must have done something wrong somewhere many many thanks .
