Password reset for Panasonic WJ-HL204

Hi, everyone.

Our CCTV screen shows that it need to format the hard drive to record. When I tried to log in, and enter the default login and password, I could not do it. I don't know the password.

The person in charge for the CCTV has left our company 3 months ago and we could not contact him.

Is there any way to reset the password? Please, help because we have 4 units of this type and I could not log in any of them.

if u took over a system from another owner and do not know use and password. U need to call the alarm company and they can call the maufacturer and reset with mac address below or behind DVR. its security measure. If u are the owner. U can talk to tech support urself see if they can help. Panasonic is not commonly used by alarm company.

We do not use alarm company and it's not familiar in my country. The CCTV system was installed by contractor 4 years ago. I've talked to the technician but the problem is my boss don;t want to add cost for it, instead he want to upgrade to a new system for next year budgeting. I just thought maybe I could do something about it in the mean time.
