update: if you mess with enough jumpers, good things can happen. it booted to the blue screen with the 2 gray boxes, however the second gray box was empty and i remember someone on these forums stating that is where the hdd specs are. since it was empty i assumed the hdd died. however i plugged in a new one that works and i believe i tripped some sort of alarm. it wont boot anymore and it buzzes. i found a jumper right next to the buzzer and i tried jumping it but it didnt reset. any help? update 2: not enough power. ohms law ftw.

Hello I have spent ample time on these forums. I am a tech at a refurbishing company and we just bought a lot of ADT DVMRe-4CS'. However when i turn them on all the LEDs on the front panel light up and stay on and the buttons appear to have no functionality. the monitor it is attached to stays at a blank screen. the monitor does surge when I plug in the power to the dvr. I have no previous experience with security dvr's and we have no dvr specialist on site. I am very experienced with various electronics and computer systems. Opening up the dvr and i felt very familiar with what i saw. However there appears to be a front panel lock of some sort. I have scoured the internet for a factory reset jumper or keystroke but apparently that information is not for the public. Any help would be fantastic. Thanks for your time.
