not sure why anyone would try to use hardware/software for an OS that is-not 100% released/launched
-not supported by geovision (at this time)
and what is bothering you ?

what makes you think it will not work on win 8?
it was working on developer preview and consumer preview https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=17e804d6120513ef&wa=wsignin1.0&sa=563082434#cid=17E804D6120513EF&id=17E804D6120513EF%21334

I know you love XP, but the Geo's seem to run fine for me on 7 quote]Best idea would be to go back to XP. Forget all the hype, use what works.do you have software 8.33 , if yes , would-you pls check the date of these 2 drivers ?

thank-you for responding :
i formated my pc , i have replaced my mobo ,waiting for new ram , did all sfc \scannow , chkdsk , memtesr86 7 passes , no way to go back to xp after all mony invested in this i7 pc .
what i don't understand is how come that the latest software , has drivers dated 2004 , 2007 .
i found a modem driver outdated which i disabled .
for others who have software 8.33 , are these drivers ( AGV.sys , GV800S.sys )dated as drivers i have ?
-
any coments , pls .
-
well , still having random bsod after replacing mobo , in 2 forums they told me it is due to AGV.sys and GV800S.sys drivers , because they are dated to 2004 and 2007
so thier is a compatibility issue , despite i have 8.33 software , any infoemation PLS , my card gv800(s) ver 3.52

Question for people using Windows 7 and Geovision 8.3+... I have installed Win 7 on a system using GV800, but I can't seem to log in and view the cameras using WebCam. Is this working for you? When I attempt to access my system remotely, I go to the Webcam log-in screen, enter the username/password. The screen then refreshes and I get a Timed-out error.Everything else seems fine. No other errors or lost data with the upgrade from Vista.
gv800 installed on win 7 32bit , every thing is working and smooth but aero off

run MEMTEST.thank-you for your help , i found the problem , it was a faulty mobo.
i have replaced it and every thing is ok now with gv800 wich is great.

since i installed my gv800 i have a lot of "not responding" and hangs with ie , we,and other applications plus BSOD daily.
i had first 8.1 software then changed to 8.2 and finaly 8.3.3 , all the same .
but here in forum there are some persons have no issue with win 7 .
so , PLS ,why i have these issues ?
thank you in advance to any effort even a litle.
