  1. I hooked up the camera at the dvr to a channel that allows hd feed but still no luck. I just purchased a ground loop isolator to use at the camera. Also I’m not sure if I’m missing a setting on my dvr that changes the camera type to HDCVI. I only see HD resolution.

  2. cam setting wouldn't cause lines, sounds like ground loop but more specific descriptions would be helpful. All I've got is you had a dvr it all worked, put in one new cam and it has lines. Just based on that recheck how you put the cam up, did you accidently give another path to ground, with a screw from the cam case, or something small like that.

Thank for the reply! I bought the flir DVR in order to use hd analog cameras. I hooked up the new HDCVI camera to the coax I had a non hd camera connected to. The non hd camera worked with no issues. Where would I check for ground? At the dvr or power supply?

  3. I hooked a FLIR M4200 DVR with my analog cameras and everything worked. I then swapped out one camera with an amcrest HDCVI camera. This camera just shows rolling lines. It’s hooked up via coax cable. I’m not sure if the dvr needs to have settings changed? Anyone have any ideas?

  4. Not sure if this belongs here. I have the ring doorbell pro hard wired. I am unable to get HD video at all. My router is about 20 ft away. My speedtest at the doorbell with door closed is about 90mbps download and 90mbps upload. I have a dlink router dir 890 try band. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  5. My power supply is make big like a clicking kinda sound and the green lights inside are flickering. My CCTV camera are also not coming in the picture is rolling and flickering. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

  6. Don't know about that model, but what ports did you open in the router? Possibly 80 and 1600?

I opened only one port on the router. I changed the default port of 80 to a new one on my dvr. That is what I used for my router. Their also was only one port listed on dvr under LAN setting

  7. Hey one more question. When I type my no ip host name into the browser and it connects it shows my IP address not the host name. Is there a way to just have it show my no ip host name?

Oh I did get my iPhone app working because in the stup it asked for address and I was putting my no ip .org address and it wasn't working. When I entered my home IP address instead it works. It works which is good. But this doesn't seem right to me.

  8. remote login is working now. But I had to change my host Type from DNS Host A to port 80 Redirect, and i went to whatsmyip.com website and used that ip for my computer on the no ip website instead of the usual router ip.

  9. I put the settings in place and still cannont get into my dvr for remote viewing. Under DDNS settings on my DVR I put port 80. I port forwarded my TCP port and my HTTP from my DVR's network settings. I put my router ip I use to log into my router from home into no ip website settings. I dont know what Im missing.
