I hope someone can help.
We have the POD AlienDVR and we are currently having issues networking the device to be able to view the cameras over the internet. Currently configuration:
POD plugged in to router via patch cable
POD assigned internal static ip (eg 192.168)
POD assigned port numbers
Vigor 2600g router configured to port redirect for alienDVR service
i can connect locally to the web address but i cant connect to it over the internet!!
Anyone got any ideas or know of a simple way to configure this? I seems simple enough im just wondering if ive over looked something?!?

EDIT: I have now resolved this - under port forwarding i had set the service as TCP when it was actually UDP - doesnt highlight this anywhere which is annoying ;-D
