I am looking to replace my monoprice dvr with something that can be accessed from my ipad.
I don't really want to build a system.
I would like D1 on all channels, I have 600tvl lines on analog cameras throughout the perimeter of my house.
Also I want to be able to have a lot of drives hopefully 6 or 8 drives, but I would like to be able add my own drives if at all possible since I already have about 6 2 tb drives at my house now.
I would like to be able to see via the iphone and my ipad remotely and in my office via ie explorer or something like that.
I would like to be able to review video remotely. I would like to be able to scroll back and forward from my iphone if at all possible.
I have read a ton of messages but I didn't see anything on point.
I see that dahua is very popular but I can't tell if I can do all of this on that machine and the intellipix PLATINUM-16CH-D1 seems to be ok but very expensive.
Any ideas?
