Hello All
I have the following Kit
1. Samsung SPC-1010 controller
2. Samsung SRD-1650 DC DVR recorder
3. Samsung SCP-2370 THP Camera
I can connect the controller directly to the camera and all PTZ functions work correctly.
What I need to do is connect the controller to the DVR and the camera into the DVR, so effectively i send the ptz command to the DVR which in turn sends it to the camera. (this way we can extend the system to multiple camera and control all cameras)
I believe the camera is one which uses the coaxial to transmit the PRZ commands.
ON THE DVR I HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
TX + & -
RX + & -
on the controller there is
TRX + & -
TX1 + & -
TX2 + & -
TX3 + & -
So how do I connect the the Controller to the DVR?

I am heading in the right direction now further reading after searching "coaxitron" make the matter a lot clearer.
Is there an adaptor I can use to connect these panasonic camera to the following controller?

Or am a barking up the wrong tree?

Reading further into this I believe that the coax cable send the video AND the telemetry date through the SAME cable.
I am now hooking up a controller to see if I can access the setup menus.
Please still reply if you can offer any guidance.

Hello Guys
I am new to this forum and would like to say big hello to all of you.
Right down to the nitty gritty
I have 2 units of the Panasonic WV-CS320,
The link below will take you too a PDF version of the user manual.
http://www.ecdltd.com/manuals/panasonic.pdf
I can get power to the unit fine and the video output is also fine, problem I have is how to I set the camera up it is currently doing a 360 pan and I need to edit this plus other settings.
How do I get to the setup menu?
According to the manual I should use a controller to enter the menu, this is the problem I do not have one.
Do any of you have any experience with this model?
This link http://www.info4security.com/story.asp?storyCode=1038157§ioncode=9
states that the video cable also carries telemetry data I have split open the unit and can see at least 14 cables however a visual inspection along with a continuity test confirm these do not enter the camera unit.
Any guidance or help would be much appreciated.

Hello Guys
I was having similar issues but finally manged to get it working, was wondering if you experienced the following.
If I set the system up on the bench supply I can control my samsung camera via my control, over coaxial cable.
However when I install the camera say 50 meters away I cannot control the Camera at all either by the control or through the DVR onbard PTZ controls.
The picture I am getting is crystal clear.
What could be my issue, where should I start?
