  1. This was as I feared. I knew going into one of my local stores theres always catch when they liquidate a store. I was walking threw and noticed everything was "on sale".

So I walked around a listened to the sales people explain over and over and over (get the picture) to those that were asking the same question. "How much is this on discount for?"

The Reply - "Anything that has an "ON SALE" sticker on it as as marked. If it doesn't have an "on sale" sticker than its up to 30% off."

Funny how every single TV of any value was "On Sale" Not going to liquid a store that way.

So I see a TV I am really really interested in. 60" 1080p DLP Samsung. A Beautiful TV. Of course, it was "On Sale" so no discount. Price 1899.99.

I leave it there. Go home and hop on best buys website. The exact same tv was $1399.99.

And you wonder why your liquidating and going out of business. What a joke!

  2. While I have never been burned that bad, I have been burned badly. That silvidine or silverdine medication is NOT cheap.

Although, it is a miracle ointment drug. I was supposed to have scarring due to my blisters, but that stuff really healed the burn and helped regrow the skin so no scarring was evident.

Dude, I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully they gave her some good pain killers to go with it. Keep it clean, and slathered in that silverdine and all should be well in no time.

    Good luck man.

  3. It's hardly hacking if she HAD his password. Especially when he gave it to her! Thats what I read in an article online.

If she was in the US, the most she could be punished for is cyber bullying.

Remember, Japan has WAY different laws than we do.

Personally, I have no sympathy for the guy. If your dumb enough to give someone your password, then you deserved to have your online character killed.

  4. You should have come down Cox road in cocoa. It was 80% under water. Let me tell you, it was not fun trying to get to work.

This one house that was close to 520, had to build a water burm around the front of the house, because the ditch on the other side of the road was over flowing and flowing down into their home.

There is a plumbing shop accross the road, it was "built up" 3 feet and still had water go inside its doors.

    What a mess!

  5. The only down fall with Dewalt drills are their batteries. They just don't last long. Now, before you folks flame away on this, im talking the extreme long run.

I have a Porter Cable 14.4v hammer drill that is 10 years old (GASP!) and those batteries JUST crapped out on me 4 months ago. My Dewalt 18v I have had for 3 years, and I have already had to buy 2 new sets of batteries.

You want quality and good hard working hammer drill, Porter Cable all the way!

  6. HAH! you should see the ones over in Cocoa. Just because palm bay is BFE area and has 100% more woods is the only reason it's getting more coverage.

Lets talk about the Power Plant that was 20 mins away from blowing up and becoming a part of the fire here in cocoa. Course thats not news because the firefighters saved the Power Plant.

  7. Melbourne to Miami in 2 hours?

If my map is correct and brain is functioning properly:

    Floridians drive 90 mph?

Whats a shock? Everyone that drives I95 drives between 80-90mph, the extreme brave ones drive 100+ all the time.

My average speed is 85mph. If you go any slower you could get plowed by other drivers, and yes that does include the semi's!

  8. Scorpion,

You have put too much thought into this scenerio. Sadly, let me go ahead and blow it all to heck and back.

There's a reason why KSC is built where it's at. Many many years ago, when the space agency was being formed, they did a lot of research and probability scales on how often, if at all, would the area have direct hits.

Yes, we got a lot of "grazes", but how often have you heard of the eye of the storm actually passing over this area? Even when Florida got blasted with 4 hurricanes in one year, Brevard county never took a "direct hit"

So there you have it. According to NASA, it's not going to happen!

  9. It's coming to an end now. I'm kinda surprised Florida didn't get hit this year. I was truly hoping for it. Yah, I know, how sick.

However, It's when I make the most money. Repair jobs are mucho money!

  10. Yes, I actually know somewhat about that. However, were talking a max depth of 8 feet. Most likely hovering around the 4 to 5 foot mark.

I have already built a water proof box, will be submerging it and letting it sit for a week and test it. I'm pretty confident it will hold up for long periods of time.

We have caught the culprit that was "stealing" the coy. Stupid wild boars! Get your fish somewhere else!

edit: in answer to the problem of algae. Yes, this is always a concern, and the customer has been informed that weekly maintenance will be required to keep clean.

  11. I could aways build a small acrylic box to mount a regular ptz in, I was just trying to save some time. I have actually built several aquariums on the side so it's not that big of a deal.

Thanks for the clues and information.

  12. Is there such a thing? If there is, can someone point me to one? I haven't found one.

Got a specific application for it, and yes, it will be submerged 24/7

I can already imagine the questions that people are gonna ask, so I am just gonna come out and say what its for. It's for monitoring fish in a pond that keep disappearing.

We have had a camera covering the grounds, no one stealing them, so were trying to find the predator!

Plus, he wants to document the breeding habits in the pond. So it will need some sort of night vision as well.

    Thanks!
