My installer has access to my cameras he is able to view his cameras and other clients on his phone. How can I set my system up to where I can only View? I want to reset my systemso I can only View.. can somebody walk me through it

If your posting this question in a forum, than your cutting yourself short. Why not go with a size that

has more than enough room for the amount of wires you need to run? And most importantly, you did

not tell us if your running Siamese or cat5e?

would it hurt to add to to the conectors?

will i be happy with them for outside use? I was looking for one a few steps above that is adjustable and a few more tv lines insted of the 540's. tv lines. or should i stick with them? they are outside use.

hi. dvr is budget and also new to the market. but that depends on what budget you have to work with.

 

 

the dvr can be mounted in the basement , how can i view the camera activity up stairs in the living room with a monitor?

 

 

a few ways of doing it. cheapest is over PC/Laptop but if your looking to just have a monitor then VGA out via a KVM exterder with mouse control. you just need a cat5 cable from DVR to monitor.

thanks. the guy who i spoke with said that if i wanted to view it on its own monitor i would need a security monitor. i thought i could use any small flat screen tv?
