  1. memocam also has them, but i though you might be talking about CCTV cameras?
  2. havent seen an actual camera that does this, as it would need a form of digital modem. You just want to trasmit the video via cell phone is that right? If so there are a couple manufacturers that make 1 channel - 16 channel boxes, such as OZ Line, and some others.

    Panasonic WVCP474 Day/Night cam

Im now selling Kalatel's Cam Plus, with UTP/Fiber optional transmission, great product. Either way, should be good, By the way, whats 7 meters in feet please?? thanks Rory

would be nice to get one that works in one of these ) http://www.cappuccinopc.com/default.asp Oh ****, those are cool. yep, i have a client who bought the expresso pc, nice little unit, never got a chance to tes t it though, as it was shippedright bck to the US to her son! I actually wanted to sell them here, as I have a large client base that have ALOT of money for toys like this, but i didnt have the money to keep any in stock, yet... may still go ahead with it, at a later date, was going to call it Advanced Toyz, and also sell tech watches (like the casio line of camera watches, and PDA type watches), and some other gedgets. hard to do here though without others in stock in case they go bad. When I get money I will definately do it though, and just cater to the rich! By the way, im doing a quote for someone tomorrow, for CCTV (and updating thier alarm system), who is the 9th richest person in Europe and 1 of the richest in residence in the carribean. I was on their 150+ yaught today doing some computer work, sweet!!! I cant wait to see their home (or its just one of their homes!)

    No Name DVR Help

yep, one of my so called competitions down here is selling them for $400 installed, like a 4 channel DVR (or 16 channel, not sure) from taiwan. I get request via email all the time to sell this product or that one, all from asia, point is im not buying 100 of them for even one or tow of them to only go bad and not have any support available except to have to send them all the way back to asia!! For what you make off them its not worth selling them. Rory

    Geovision or H-series card?

does geo have actual windows software, or just browser based?
  10. Hi Does anyone know of any weatherproof Ceiling Mount Enclosures, whether it be a Dome or other. I am looking to switch from the Bullet Cameras at the night club, so a traditional camera for best quality, and need something to put it in. The cameras would be mounted to the outdoor ceiling, where the bars are located, and need something weatherproof as the rain comes under and hits the cameras during heavy storms. It doesnt have to be vandal proof, but that would be a plus. And any suggestions on an all in one outdoor dome, the best you may have tested or used. I was looking at the ganz ZC domes with the AI Varifocal Lens 2-4mm, with the COmputar lenses, since they have some good lenses, they may be better than the rest? Thanks Rory

    Weatherproof Ceiling Mount Housing

The tradtional cameras, full sized, are much better images than a compact or micro lens. Rory

    Weatherproof Ceiling Mount Housing

Thanks, but I havent found a manufacturer yet that meets this demand, for a full sized traditional camera, unless you use their compact sized cameras. I know about the mini domes, they just dont give the same great image as a traditional camera. But looks like mini domes are the only way to go right now. Rory

    dvr no name, OEM??

i posted this elsewhere on this forum: for remote video monitoring, im looking for a DVR rack mount, that uses a simple checp video server on the client side (no DVR), and on the remote side, i need some rack mounteable equip to record the remote video, preferably non PC based, but if it has to be PC based, then that is fine. Most important, at the monitoring side, can add/remove normal hard drives when needed. In other words, as we get more clients, we'd like to add our own locally bought hard drives as we need more space. I havent found anything yet to do this ..anyone?? Rory
