Even though this camera will be wireless, it will still need power. Have you thought about a power source? Do you have one located near by?
  5. Did you turn on the IRs in the cameras menu setting? This cab be set to Auto, or a specific time.

    DVR Software for a Mac

The best software out there for the Mac is SecuritySpy. I've been using it for a while now and nothing else compares. It's rock solid, has a ton of features, and the support is excellent. If you have a problem with the software or are looking for new cameras to be added/new features the developer has been great at responding and implementing features. I tried a few others that I can't even remember now and none of them came close. Have you used SightHound video for the mac. It used to be called Vitamin C. I have never used Security Spy, but have a hard time believing its better than SightHound. Ill check it out. Thanks
  15. Thats what I was thinking, but just wanted to get a second opinion. Thanks!

  18. Hey Guys, Looking for nice IP Camera that can be used as a Baby Monitor Camera. Budget $200 or under. Looking for something with great Day and Nighttime Viewing. Also needs to be able to be Viewed outside the network with an iPhone or Android. Looking for something with IRs that wont glow to strong to wake the baby. (IMPORTANT) Wifi or wired, just looking for some info. POE may be a nice alternative as well. Thanks for you time....
  19. I have heard pros and cons with the iVMS app. How does this app compare to like IP cam Viewer Pro for Apple and Android. Any problems viewing remotely (4g or 3g outside your home network)?
