    Hi. No it’s not possible

if both systems are the same .... see if there is any firmware updates

Damm , i can't contact them anymore. They won't answer me. ? . I already asked for new firmware for a 100 time. The refuse to answer me. Wish i could find the correct firmware myself. But i haven't found it yet.

  2. Hi ,

Is it possible to clone the complete firmware from one nvr to an other? They are both exactly the same. The problem is that i've had to flash a different firmware to my nvr and now after 5 min i lose mouse control. I now have to restart my nvr to regain mouse control again. I do have the other nvr here so now i want to know is there a way to clone/copy the firmware and flash it to my other that has the problems?

  3. Hello

I have a 16 ch dvr from china. Recording works great, normal playback to. The problem occurs with the fast forwarding. You can choose between 4 modes of speeds , from 1 to 4 . When you select mode 1 the video does the fast forwarding , but instead of the seconds following each other up a little faster , it just skips 12 seconds every time. ( hope every one understand what i mean)

So for exampe if you are watching a playback video from 08:00:00 , in normal playback it goes like this 08:00:01, 08:00:02, 08:00:03 , 08:00:04 and so on. Now when i hit the fast forwading one time the time goes like this 08:00:00, 08:00:12, 08:00:24, 08:00:36, 08:00:48 and so on. So here is my problem. You can't do a fast forward without missing a lot of parts of the video. In 12 seconds a lot of things can happen. With my previous 8 ch dvr i haven't got that problem. With my previous the time went like this 08:00:01, 08:00:02, 08:00:03 , 08:00:04 and so on but only faster , you miss nothing from what happend.

I've contacted the seller and they say it's normal. So they can't do anything about it. Well i'm telling you it's not normal. My previous dvr had exactly the same software and layout. For me it's just a modification in the software. Does any one now if it's possible to change this. Maybe true telnet?

Hope some one can help me out.

I've added a link from dropbox with a video so you can see what happens and also a picture of the dvr and what software version thats on it.

  4. Cams on that system are super cheap. Don't waste your time. Spend a few more dollars and get real cameras with proper filters that work.

So its not possible with these cams you think? If i have to buy 8 new camera's its a lot of money to me. So if its is possible i would like to try it.

  5. The looong answer is probably yes but the short answer is no with relatively cheap cameras with M12 lenses. You're much better off buying a proper camera with the IR cut filter in place and using the other one in a place where it is useful. If you're talking about a box camera with CS mount lens then life is much easier if the camera sensor is sensitive to IR.

I dont now if it's helping but this is the camera set i have

I like to give it a try, but i have to now what part i need and what i must do with it.
