Advantage of IP-Camera and HD-SDI Cameras

As the topic says im curious on what the advantages are when using IP-Systems over Analogue-systems that uses HD-SDI cameras. As i understand it the main advantage with IP-System was the higher resolution but now when HD-SDI exist the analog systems have "fixed" that. Best Regards zChris
