I have a GE DVMRe CT-16 with no burner. I read that the manual says I can use a SCSI drive to transfer the video to. Has anyone done this before? What type of burner would you suggest to do this? We recently had a incident that I need to burn video and move for future use and any help would be appreciated.

Is there a way to reset the unit if someone set the password on this unit? Or does it need to go back to GE for service?
