Go figure the day after I post, Q-See updated their iOS App today!!! So happy now!!!

Does anyone know if there is an iOS app that can connect to Q-See QT model DVR? Maybe a coincidence, but I can only connect to my DVR every once and a while from the latest Q-See QT view app (which was last updated over a year ago) outside of my home network. It was fine before iOS 11. However, I have tried the App on an iPad with iOS 10 and the same issue. I have restarted my DVR with no change. So, I was hoping some smart person out there my know of a better App that will work with my DVR.

I acquired a GE Security DVR part number SYMSAFE4+2-160 from my previous company as they closed the US office. I kept in a box till now, and am unable to log into the DVR. I have contacted all the previous users and no one remembers the password. I see that GE Security no longer exists and that Interlogix appears to have bought that division. Does anyone know how to reset this DVR to factory settings? I have the manual that came with it and know the default user passwords, just need to know the secret way of resetting the software to back to default settings. Thanks in advance.
