I made my Escam QD320 work with motion detection using this firware: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=B66681DAACD99734!4002&authkey=!AJIYSUFmBmKzLoY&ithint=file%2cbin This firmware is not ESCAM OFFICIAL. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! YOU WILL LOOSE P2P FUNCTIONALITY! IT WANT CONNECT THROUGHT NAT! It looks like Onvif pops up 2.04 and events are being transmited (checked with Onvif Device Manager). It is still buggy becouse if you run Onvif Device Manager (ODM) to check if events appear motion detecion gets disabled in IPC firmware. So if you make it work .... don't touch anyting! BTW: This camera are genereic Hangzhou Xiongmai Technology Co., Ltd.

Today my NVR stopped to discover my HDD. Hdd is 100% ok, connected via external usb power supply and esata cable. After two weeks of flawess work BANG! No hdd at all. The latest firmware is 20140417. Hopefully you are using this version. We are developing the next version now and believe it will be ready before Christmas. Hi I have the Escam K108 with the 20140417 firmware. the PC client software that came with the unit is corrupt where can I find a good working copy. Tried IE(IE 11 &win7) but the unit does not always save the changes, having to repeat the same steps several time to get it to save. what website to i check for firmware updates and guides/how too's also having issues getting a Wanscam JW09 connected to my unit, any ideas PM me with you email and i will send you whole cd copy. Mike is there any hope that this nvr will start to work under linux with FF or any other webbrowser?

    Mini nvr questions

Hi, i think this is a customized software version for ESCAM camera. Dev.XM is their own code but I think the "Dev. XM" means "it is origionally from XMeye company" so the protocol is i12. Could you please also attach a picture of your motion detection recording configuration page in NVR system? The main problem is that this devices are not i12 compatible. If i chose i12 there is no video at all. ONVIF is the only working option :/ Without proper private protocol there is no way to use motion detection.

    Mini nvr questions

Hello Mike I noticed that my Escam cameras work with motion detection using their own CMS 3.0 software. Camera setting are below. I tried i12 with 34567 port and UDP/TCP transport - in both modes there is no movement detection :/ Any other idea? What is Dev.XM protocol compared to NVR protocols? CMS user manual says: Dev.XM: Old Hisilicon solution DVR/HVR/NVR,produced before June,2013.

Because there are tooooo many IP camera manufacturers out there and everyone has their own standard. They prefer their cameras to work with their own NVR system. So it is hard to make our product compatible with all, only shake hands with some big original IP camera manufacturers. The flash built-in NVR is also limited and can not burn all protocols inside, that's why we need a protocol upgrade when client is using IP cameras from our partners. Cost Issues, that's why we are talking about this cheapest NVR in the world now. How the usb power is provided. Does usb current is limited to 500mA, or usb get as much power how power supply can provide? I ask becouse powering hdd (2.5") via usb, and connecting to e-sata is not enough. It would be simplier to change power supply to 5V, 4A and solve problems. Other option is use self powered usb hub to power on hdd. Usually 2A are enough to power up hdd, 3g modem, and AR931 routers .....

Do you consider alarm using alarm port function build into cameras? It would be easier to make motion detection for most of the cameras.

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/With-EU-plug-Escam-Fighter-QD320-720P-IR-Bullet-H-264-1-4-CMOS-Night-Vision/1183384_1955148166.html I ask about RTSP output of video from nvr, i know you can input RTSP as source. About OSD if i set up Settings/Channel/Display Settings and tick show name, show date and press apply device confirmes save, but there is no second osd on screen. About alarm input, you write about rs485 - it is hardware serial port. I ask about each channel IP alarm input under Setting/Alarm/Alarm Input. There is IP as source, does alarm is triggered by connection to specific port? You can't download video while in playback mode. You have to close playback window, and press download button and input time and format. Of course i do it remotly via IE. Are you going to add windows phone app to remote view?

    Mini nvr questions

I use escam K108. Will Escam QD320 (h264 only HI3518E) and simmila cameras work with motion detection in new version? Is it possible to add time stamp on video by nvr - not camera itself? In my device reverse playback does not work, and you have to download video directly - not from playback screen. While in playback mode there is no progress. How does alarm input for IP Cameras work? Is there RTSP stream available in mini nvr? In my case this device is OK, but time sync is a problem. Had to set GMT+2, instead of real GMT+1. On my escam QD320 cameras time is synchronized by ntp twice - like i set, and with some chinesse time zone. That is why i want to put time stamp by nvr. Anyway mini nvr is worth its money " title="Applause" /> , but there is lack of documentation. Like that you have to uses usb + esata cable. There is no power in esata connector in this device.

i had this problem. You just have to add your nvr ip to trusted sites in IE. This should solve a problem. Remember to untick request https verification. Let me know is motion detection working. Currently i'm wainting for support response but all i got is gmail Delivery Status Notification that their mail server is dead. Whole website also.

I trie to get motion detection recording triggered by alarm input posted via camera on motion detection how ever .... what is alarm port in this nvr? Mini nvr questions

Hello I just tried Escam QD320 (cameras) with Escam K108 (NVR). Before i bought it escam support claimed it will work together with motion detection. However i can't force it to work in that mode. If i set up motion detection area it is not saved by nvr. Hard drive is attached, so storage is available. I'm waiting for answer from escam support, they asked for camera and nvr firware version. Wonder what will be their answer. I have no idea how to make this mode work. Anyone with working motion detection could: 1. Give as screenshot of motion detection config on camera 2. Give as screenshot of motion detection config on NVR 3. Provide detailed step by step configuration.

OK. To perform update you have to attach hdd.

    Mini nvr questions

How did you install this update? This is not a rar file i13.update - my nvr if i try to update says this is wrong file. I got response from escam.cn that their cameras are motion detection compatible with their mini nvr (i own that one 8ch). I notice one more thing this nvr esata port is only data! No power, you have to grab power from usb! So you have to use cable like that: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Hard-Disk-Drive-SATA-22Pin-to-eSATA-Data-USB-Powered-Cable-Adapter-0-5M-HIYG-/221440474130?pt=US_Drive_Cables_dapters&hash=item338ee17c12 instead of regular without usb plug.
