I just bought a dvr economic: cctv model: tk-d8c8 ; 8 channels. in the instruction manual I read about the snapshot menu. in my dvr does not really exist the menu snapshot. I would be comfortable sending photos via email. the rest is all set: -I get emails (no photo ) -I partitioned the hard drive and the second partition has been recognized by the system as partition snapshot! -the motion detection works fine, and starts recording or cyclic function on the monitor. do you think I should upgrade the system? where can I get the file for the upgrade? this is my instruction manual: this is my motion detection menu: as you can see, it lacks the snapshot feature!
