I was interested in buying these cameras to use with SSS, but after reading things like this I am hesitant.

Apologies, just found some additional information on the pro's cons of each.

Hi-

I'm looking to set up a basic, 2 camera, outdoor system with IR capabilities to use with Synology Surveillance station.

My question is, I probably have to run 100' or so of cable to the Synology box and I'm wondering if I should just use PoE injectors or a small powered switch.

Appreciate the feedback, this can get so confusing.
