  1. Finally after trying 30 different apps I've found the right one which is : vMeyeSuper 2.0.1 - this one connects to dvr over 34567 port so uses the same protocol like pc. Any other apps do not work neither through 34599 nor 34567. The hardware restarting when trying to use over web browser is still an issue to address but having android connection established it should be quite okay now. Thanks.

  2. The mobile app you are using is the wrong one You should try vMEye and port 34599.

To ensure the ports are indeed open, you need to use you get signal open port check tool

    Wishing you lots of luck

    I've tried :

    MEyePro

    MEye

    DVRPlayer

    vMEye

,All meye comes from the same producer and looks like to have the same core so I tried also:

    MobileCMS

    iWatch DVR

    DVRPlayer

    Auquilla

    Ininity DVR

Get signal ports says that ports are open.

Also, I can see that port connection is okay because when for test purposes I set the wrong password it responds with such information telling that the password is wrong. When i set the good password the connection status message says logging and than bufferring.... (never ending)

PS. I tried also connection from another android phone with the same result. netstat (in busybox linux telnet mode console gives information that connection has been established)

  3. So the issue is remote view?

Are all the proper ports open on your router? Change port 80 to something else to start with

If its view over a mobilephone you cant get, what App are you using?

I connect through home network only (also android wifi). All ports are open. Telnet 192.168.0.10 to 80, 34599, 34567 gives black screen (connected properly). Also telnet from android phone (I've installed) tells me that ports are open.

When I use MyEye and other dvr related applications on android phone it tells me to login properly (when I put wrong password it tells me so), however video stream is somehow not provided. In meantime myeye says 1. connecting 2. logging 3. buffering , where the last step "bufferring..." is never finished.

On the network browser IE/Chrome i can see the login page but when I enter username and password I receive "page not found" response and than can spot that dvr hardware starts rebooting (strange but true !).

  4. Hi (my first post - please admin move it to apropriate category if I'm wrong).

Please help me to identify my 8 channel DVR hardware. I need to install new firmware (as I guess based on problem types I have) but do not exactly know which one to use (can't find manufacturer name/website anywhere on the device manuals and network).

I had DVR installation already at home which I bought 1 month ago. It should support browser based www (80 port) access and mobile (34599) access. Unforutnatelly I can connect to it only using CMS software (34567 tcp ip port).

On the box it is told to be "H.264 DVR" device with model "GW-708D". unfortunatelly there is no manufacturer provided. Instructions and package does not have it also. Even attached mini cdrom stored softwares do not have it. Seems to be a kind of chineeese no-name (?)

When I connect to it over telnet ("root" with "xc3511" password) which I'v found somewhere on this forum it tells me to be be busybox 1.1 linux based system.

When I connect over browser it automatically restarts whole dvr device. Android mobile phone streaming (using myeye and other dvr softwares) tells me only "buffering" but never shows anything.

In system menu i've found firmware version which is now:

    v2.62.r07 (may 2011)

What is the manufacturer ? where/which firmware upgrade should I download for upgrade ?
