We Install HDCVI because its more cost effective if an analog system is already in place. Usually people look at price over quality of picture. There are video and picture examples of HDCVI on the net.

What do you mean by analog monitor?

Yes Dahua makes a hybrid. You can use cat5 with video baluns.

We use a shop vac all the time with a string. Leaf blower I will have to keep in mind.

You will be happy with a Dahua NVR. There software works great with Chrome and IE (newest versions)

You can add that IP to your PC. Then you can access the IP camera then change the IP on the camera if that is what you are trying to do??

Make sure you forward the ports corresponding with the correct IP of the DVR

You also should not use port 80. Just my 2 cents.

Change your IP address. You can have someone you trust set the port forwarding back up. Or change the port in the DVR/NVR then in your modem/router. It should not be set to port 80

This can be accomplished for that budget. I recommend Dahua 4300 bullets or Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I. I would also use a Dahua NVR. Im sure Hikvision NVR's are great too but I have no experience with them. As far as the two way audio goes I cannot recommend any because audio recording is illegal in my state. I would also recommend recording 24/7. Hard drives are cheap enough and it just makes sense. You do not want to miss any activity. Just my 2cents.
