  1. I don't remember if 192.168.1.10 is the default IP, or is it the one assigned manually or DHCPd to it?

    If you're sure that 192.168.1.10 should be, then try the web access to it (from the lan) using your browser and entering 192.168.1.10:8080 (unless you have changed your port). Hope this helps.


  2. Hi All... I've configured my AVC781 to be accessed remotelly from port 80 (even from the Video Server E Client). When accessed from a PC with free internet access it's all wonderfull, but, when accessed behind a firewall (even though I get to log into the server, or get the web access to the dvr) all I get is a white image in the screen. Have any one had this problem, and/or found any solution to it? Is the video stream from the dvr sent from the same port 80? Any help is welcomed.

  3. Hi, I'm new to DVR and recently bought an AVTech AVC781. Internet bandwidth is a luxury where I live, so I got 256Kbps on a cablemodem. When connected to the DVR from my computer over the lan with the app (video server E), i've noticed that the bandwidth utilization (lan) goes up to 1.6 Mbps with up to 20-to-21 fps. When connected remotely over internet @256Kbps (128kbps for upload) I can only get nearly 2fps with low quality/resolution images.

    Does anyone have the same bandwidth limitations and found a way to optimize this?

    I've found that, when playing back, backup images, they are recorded at 720x480 resolution, so I'm wonderin if the dvr is set to transmit at the same resolution and that's whats making this less efficient.

    Any comment is wellcomed.
