Help with Meridian control protocol / Mark Mercer

Hello, I have an existing Mark Mercer dome (D150/D250 I'm not actually sure!) It's currently running though it's 7 presets and just keeps repeating.... The new DVR I've installed has the standard RS485 controller so Pelco-D/P etc Could anyone point me in the right direction at all? I'm looking at getting a USB>RS485 controller so that I can at least set it up via my laptop but I can't even do that yet! Many thanks!
