Hello,
I own an Alien 666 (Hero) DVR and it has been hijacked.
I know I only have myself to blame for not changing the default password (admin 12345)
And now the CCTV has been hijacked, When you enter the IP number a control panel is shown and I presume someone has entered the default username and password and changed everything related to the admin account and hijacked it.
I have tried to remove the CMOS battery and after 20 mins replaced it but to no avail.
I have tried to press the ENTER button on the device facia and a message pops up to change the DWELL setting?
Can anyone help me to reset it back please like a factory reset?
It seems a bit awkward that one cannot easily reset it from the device itself.

PS
The CCTV was setup for remote viewing so I assume that is how it got hi-jacked
