  1. Sorry guys haven't checking in for a while. I actually fix the problem by removing and replacing one of my Access Point device which seems to hang-up and cause problem with one of my switch that is connected to my TL-3424P. I got several switches and access points and it looks like one of my AP is faulty and affecting my network specially the IP camera's connected to the switch.

  2. did you try to update firmware..?

Yes I did sir, AVH312PV is discontinued according to AVTECH website. I also change my recording and viewing settings. But when my HDD is almost full the problem happens it says system overloading in my AVH312PV and I can't do anything the system hangs up, so what I have to do is reformat my HDD again and its back working.

My AVH516 the CPU usage is 100% but still functional and a lil bit slow I got 16 IP Cam with 2MP each.

  3. Actually it disconnects different cameras, like for example it disconnects 1 camera then 4 cameras etc. etc. I think the camera is not the problem. I already reset my PoE switch and it made a little change for about a day w/o disconnection and then it disconnect again. So I reboot my PoE switch again and its good again then after that it disconnects again. I already check NVR and try to scan/search the camera, it finds the cameras IP but it doesn't connect back so I just have to reboot also my NVR in order to reconnects it again. It happens just in particular time frame when we don't have operations and the air condition is turned off it happens in the late hot afternoon about 3 hours everyday, that is why I suspect it might be heat issue on my data cabinet where my PoE switch installed, it doesn't have proper ventilation. But actually I just encounter these problems about 2 week now, before that I don't have any issues like that I never change anything before until now. Hmmm.

  4. Hi guys, I got some issues regarding my IP Cameras 16 units connected in my PoE switch and to my NVR. I recently encounter problems about my camera's disconnection. What I do is I'll reboot my whole system the PoE Switch and the NVR itself. I'm not sure if it is about overheating or something. My NVR is updated to latest firmware version and got good ventilation while my PoE switch is installed in my data cabinet with not so good ventilation. These issues are just recently. Does anyone encounter similar problems? I'm planning to add cooling fan on my cabinet.

    Thanks

  5. I manage a 1500+ city wide cameras system and I have tested a lot of cameras over the years. My vote is for Axis. For many reasons the most important is that they are easy to manage. When you have as many to look after it needs to be consistent and easy to manage. Lowest failure rate of any camera we have deployed... less than 1%. I do stay away from the M-series and we only use P and Q series.

Worst camera that we have used by far has been Arecont.

Worst camera that we have used by far has been Arecont.

    Absolutely!

The only thing worse than Arecont is the older GE stuff!

I have 2 sites that I manage that are 1500+

Everything that dies gets replaced with Axis. New construction gets axis.

The new Axis Q6114-E, Q6115-E, and the just released Q6128-E PTZ cameras are off the chain.

And they are 1000.00 cheaper than the Q6042-E and Q6044-E PTZs. The Q6128-E is a 4k PTZ.

The hospital I manage is all Avigilon. And that product has been flawless.

Thanks for replying guys, so far AXIS has the more vote from the user. What about Axis compatibility with the third party VMS? What VMS have you use to manage Axis IP Camera? and it's flexibility in mobile viewing?

  6. I haven't tried Axis yet, but looking at all your post/reply I think I need to try it.

These are the brands that I have tried:

    1. Hikvision

    2. AVTECH

    3. Foscam

    4. Escam

I can't tell you guys that those brands are the best because until now I encounter problems with their products, it's like those are the only available products that I used from my work.

  7. Good day! Hello everyone, greetings from Philippines.

I've been using AVTECH products since I started doing CCTV in 2012.

I don't know if there is a similar thread/discussion about AVTECH products here, but let's make a friendly discussions here.

So far most of the problem I encountered with AVTECH is their EagleEyesHD (plus) app for Apple iPad. It always hangs up when viewing individual camera and all the button control of the app is not functioning the video is ok but the app freeze up. You have to close the whole app and reload it again to make it work again. It's updated to the latest version 1.1.5.6 but it seems to have bugs. Right now my problem with it is when I'm accessing my NVR with 16 IP camera, it opens on a 16 tile but when I click the individual channel/tile, it pops up black screen then after few seconds it open the channel that I am accessing, which I never experience in my iPhone EagleEyes plus. Any thoughts?

My another problem with AVTECH is that I encounter System Overloading on my NVR AVH312PV. Anyone encountered the same problem?

    Thanks
