Hello,

I purchased a 2CD-4A26FWD camera with the latest firmware V5.4.0 via Ebay. The camera works great but I noticed that there is no option for the License Plate recognition (LPR) and I have read that there is a firmware to enable this feature.

I cant see this anywhere and wondering if anyone can point me in the correct direction thanks

Hello

I want to record all motion change on the DVR but only changes close to the house on the cameras SD card. This way I can connect with phone app to DVR to play back all the motion and easy to find any incident around the house by remote playback of the camera SD card.

I can set this up no problem (motion detection for DVR and line/intrusion detection for the cameras SD card but I can only setup the camera SD and DVR to record both.

Is there a way around this?

Hi I recently purchased a Chinese Hikvision NVR model ds-7604n-e1/p4 with English language firmware v3.4.6.

Before I brought it, I didn't realise the problems with camera language/firmware compatibility.

I am looking at buying another camera.I assume International Hikvision camera will not work and I should buy an Chinese model with English so I can plug it into the POE port of my NVR and will work?

Looking at the DS-2CD2142FWD-IS but can only get in International and concerned it will not work.
