  1. Hi All,

(I'm located in the US - Florida)

I recently moved into a new house, and looking for a new IP camera for the garage side of the house. I already have the front and sides taken care of, but for the garage side, I am looking for something that is probably too specific.

Obviously it will be outside, so IP66/IP67 or similar.

PoE - ethernet is already ran to the locations, and want to avoid wireless completely

PTZ - really want to be able to have PTZ controls. If PTZ isn't an option, then I already have an alternative in mind, but PTZ would be nice

Low-ish profile - as in, "ceiling" mountable, not wall mounted, and massive.

    White in color (base)

I have to adhere to a wonderful HoA, so that is the reason for the last two requirements. Needs to be white, and needs to be as small as possible. I see lots of options that meet all of my other requirements, but they are massive.

I've used Amcrest cameras before, and I enjoy them as they do what I need well, and play with my Synology's Surveillance Station without a problem. I had looked at this camera, and while I'd prefer to have 3MP, 1080p is okay. The only issue, is that it's black! Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAIW931

The other cameras I'm using are Amcrest, so would be nice to have the same vendor, but I know I can't have my cake and eat it, too... (Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E7QMFIM)

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated! I'd like to stick to about the $300-350 max budget for this one camera, but let me know what you suggest!

    Thanks!

  2. **Mods - I posted in the wrong section, this can be removed but I can't figure out how to do it on my own, I apologize**

  3. I know this post is many years old, sorry to dig it up from the past...

I have one of the Dahua IPC-HFW4300S-V2's, and accidentally ripped off, out of frustration , the plug that has the external Power and Ethernet...

I was looking at tng5737's diagram, however on the 4300 I have one wire that is different colored...

    Red

    Black

    Brown

    Violet/Purple

    Orange

    Blue

    Yellow

    Green

On the diagram, it shows GY, which I'm assuming is Gray? Hoping someone can point me in the right direction and see if Gray might be Green?
