can u please tell me how u got ur box to turn on as i am only getting a red light ?

did u get a remote control with ur box?

did u require a hdd before u got it to work?

I got a remote with it.

You need a remote as there's no buttons to press on the dvr.

I fixed it. Sorted it but don't know how.

However...yesterday it went kaput again. I woke up, switched my monitor on and there was a grey screen. Now the blasted machine says am locked out.

My password (blank) is wrong and I have only ever used "Admin" as user. What the hell..!

Hi there, I have just purchased and set up my cctv.

Somehow I have "brightness", "Low" "sensitivity" across the picture of my two cameras. I think I got this from ptz. I have tried and tried to rid this but no joy.

Any help much appreciated.

I have tried everything. I am a bit wise on setting up systems but this has me baffled.

Thanks a bunch you clever people.

PS. How do I do a factory reset. ? I have no buttons on this H.264 and no reset button on the back.

I've posted this problem elsewhere but I really am at the end of my tether.

I have a Seculink H.264 basic set up. Two cameras.. It is set up fine except I have large white writing across the the camera's view. I have the words "Return", "Middle" and "BLC" . I am sure this came about when I had a mess with the PTZ.

I have tried and tried to rid this. If I mess with PTZ the words change (eg: middle, low, high) but they stay there.

Can I do a factory reset to fix this and if so HOW ?

All help appreciated.
