How many Cameras did you want to show on the monitor I know there is a quad multiplexer available?

Hi

We want to show 3 cameras.

The control box was designed to just squeeze everything in to it and we are limited to replacing the multiplexer with something not more than 150 mm x 100 mm x 30 mm high

does the Quad multiplexer / splitter you're thinking of also convert the AHD into an image which can be viewed on an HD monitor ?

I have found an HD 1080 monitor that will fit , it has BNC and HDMI ports.

are multiplexers available that work with HD AHD cameras ?

I want to upgrade resolution on a monitored system ( no recording required )

We dont have space in the control panel to put a DVR .

The system is currently analogue cameras through baluns , over CAT 5 cable , to a multiplexer then to a monitor.

AHD cameras will work over the baluns and CAT 5 setup but we need to convert that HD AHD signal so it can be shown on a monitor ......

any suggestions ?

"Digital input". Can be used to control camera from other device.

Can someone advise , on a vivotek FD8164 camera which has POE , there is another plug on the board labelled "DI"

The manual doesnt say what it is for .

is that for 12 volt connection when POE is not available or something else ? ??

What is the best way to get 2 analogue cameras , 1 audio mic line and power supply over 40 meters of CAT 5 / 6 / 7 cable ?

there is no AC power at the camera location.

The cameras will be 300 mA each

I have never used POE injectors , can i use 803.at injectors and still use 3 twisted pairs for the cameras and audio ?

Would it work if i use a common ground for two cameras and microphone then run power over 1 twisted pair or just run POE 803.at simultaneously with 3 pairs carrying data ( video + mic )

How would you do it ?
