I have been reading and researching for quite some time now to find a system that will accommodate my needs.
I am Network administrator so level of complexity with IP systems would not be an issue.
One thing that is important is ease of use of web apps and phone apps for viewing local video
Scenario is:
Used to monitor cattle at a farm
Minimum of 8channel NVR
POE cameras outdoor cameras
One location where a camera is to go is over 300 feet away (Will need a wireless bridge between the two sites)
The rest can connect via ethernet cable
Looking to start with 4 cameras
I have been looking at amcrest and vimcam. As well as all of the others (Lorex, dahua ect.)
I feel like I am looking through muddy water with no clear decision in sight.
If anyone has good experience with a particular system I would love to hear some experiences.
