    Hello,

     

    I would like to ask if anyone is familiar with GUARDIAN cctv? (their website is sz-cctv.com)

     

    I have a GUARDIAN surveillance system installed (I didn't buy nor did I install it), but I don't know if they have an official app (like IVMS H-4200) for remote viewing and playback?

     

    I tried googling and it was very hard to find. And since I don't understand Chinese, their website is not much help to me.

     

    My second question is, does GUARDIAN allow remote user management access like HikVison does?

     

    The reason I am asking this is because, I tried typing the IP address of my other Chinese DVR, it didn't show up a menu or a log in page like HikVision.

     

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hello everyone,

     

    I would like to ask, is there a way to identify the type of CCTV that I have?

     

    Currently I have 14 analog (I presume?) cameras that connects to the DVR though Coaxial cable. Unfortunately, I do not know the brand/model of both camera and DVR. (because I did not buy it nor did I install it).

     

    The reason I am asking this is because I would like to upgrade the current surveillance system. Some cameras are not working and some produces bad quality images.

     

    I do not wish to change all the cameras, but rather the DVR and perhaps a couple of the broken cameras.

     

    I have been seeing a TurboDVR by Hikvision, it states that it is compatible with analog camera. This is the DVR that I wish to use.

     

    I would like to know if there is a way to identify the current cameras before purchasing the TurboDVR?

     

    Your help or input will be greatly appreciated!
