Hi Tom thanks for your hellp, problem solved when i set up the system i had left the 5mp cameras password to the default & when i got the other 2 a couple of weeks later i changed the passwords so was entering the changed password the camera was set to a different gateway ip all changed and working used ie on my macs windows in compatibility mode to reset the camera thanks again Tom.

I got a cheap emcam 9 ip nvr, i have a poe switch 

the encam see and works with the 2 3mp qvis cameras

It sees the 5mp camera but wont connect

i have no internet at the shop just want to record anything we are shut due to the covid crisis thanks Tom

or how can i reset the camera to default

Its coming up with an ip of 169.254.212.113 when it is set to 192.168.1.101 local and can not be accessed

Hi i have a qvis eyevip-5-fw poe camera it was part of a 3 camera network the nvr has died i bought a diferent nvr the other 2 cameras ( which are a different model ) still work but this one wont link.  When i input the ip address it goes to the logon page but the browser needs a plugin which wont work.  I remember when i got the cameras a few years ago there was a program that allowed to set up camaras but cant remember.

Can anyone please point to a program that will allow me to log into the camera to test and configure it.

Hi have had this system for a couple of years with 2 x 3mp cameras ^ 1 5mp camera has been working perfectly until the other day when the display on monitor turned off. All i get now is no signal the nvr makes the right sounds but no display there is only an hdmi so no other connections to try.  If you go to the router its still there any ideas ? Thanks K

Hi have a qyis nvr it has worked fine for 8 months but this week the output to the tv has become jerky switches off and is full of interference. I have swapped the hdmi cable, changed tv's the picture is still the same. When viewing with the app ton smartphone the picture is fine. Anyone have any ideas ?

No I can view the camera on the nVR by plugging the Ethernet frombthe camera into the router and a PSU into the cameras power but if I plug the camera directly into the router it's not detected but the camera,s up is set as 192.168.1.80 but the nvrs 5mp camera is a totally different IP like 191.120.2.191 or something like that ?

 

 

Hi. Poe will not work through a router

Poe will only work via NVR Poe or a Poe switch or injector

Yes when i plug the abm m3 camera into the nvr it dosnt detect the camera

The 5mp camera plugged into the nvr is detected

If i plug the camera into the router and plug power in the amb m3 camera is detected on the nvr

the nvr has an ip address of 192.168.1.100

the 5mp camera is given an ip of 169.254.212.113 from the nvr

I got the ABM cameras from a mate and pressed the reset button them if that makes any diferance

Hi i have a qvis viper nvr with 1 5mp poe camera works great & 2 3mp amb m3 dome cameras poe ?when connected to the nvr the power light comes on but the cameras are not detected, if i plug them into the router and use a power supply they work, they are meant to be poe cameras do they need a firmware update any ideas cheers Keith

Hi got a qvis viper nvr, what android app do you use with it i can connect from the house using the mac but it says on the box to scan a qr code it takes you to a site to register the nvr but it takes you to securedata.co.uk and you have to put in a username and password where do you get them

Takeaway shop I would also pay the £35 and have a microphone installed for both recording and listening on you phone - tablet - PC

 

Both the Quattro and the viper are well priced ...... If your your budget is around £400 then you can get a full 5mp IP Poe viper system NVR and cameras.

Iam just going to get a new dvr, the 2 1080p cameras are new the shop is just a small kitchen and front shop and a doorway i have 4 cameras and might add another 1. Good idea about the mic hadnt thought of that, also looking at dahua dvr's as they should have the same ftp backup as the qvis.

We have a small take away shop and use 4 cameras, i had it online but have it in the house because it resets itself and loses all the settings and i cant save the ftp settings thats why i bought the 16 four months ago. The 32 has always had this problem since i bought it. Nightmare think i will buy another one. Thanks for your help its much appreciated.

Hi. With the password I gave ..... Once in you go to the 888888 account and modify that ...... Even if ticked you un tick then re tick........ You can't use the password code I sent to set a account up.

Am in dundee scotland think its time for a new dvr

I logged into the admin account with the password 279472 then went to the user settings selected the 8888 account cleared all the ticks and saved then reticked and resaved, went and changed the password for the 8888 account i got the error config failed clicked cancel and logged out of the admin account and logged into the 8888 account with the new password even tho it had not saved it. I rebooted and all changes were gone 8888 account had the default password and all the cjanges were gone even the date ddmmyy

Hi do you know if the above dvr supports motion detect backup to off site ftp server ?

I have 2 1080p cams a 720 line cam and an old bullet cam all are bnc connections

Must have the ftp option in network settings ?

Or would i be better with a 8 channel dahua ?

Hi Tom tried that the first numbers worked but still the same create an account then reboot and everything that you changed has gone and passwords are back to the default, think i will have to buy another dvr
