You need to remove the card from the camera and insert it into a card reader
which is attached to a pc and using a program that is associated with the .pic format you will
be able to extract your pics and re_save them in any other picture file format.
Here is a link to some software programs that can read this file format

Hi
I am using
Hikvision IVMS-4200 version 2.7
on a windows 10 pc.
I am having problems using Remote Playback
I have a dedicated 1TB hard drive receiving the recording 24/7
Which is ok.
I can use all the functions for forward play.
I can use the time-line and drag the video backwards and forwards in time.
What I can not do is use the buttons (single frame reverse) and (reverse play).
If I click on reverse play I get an Error Msg (HCNetSDK.dll(23) Not Supported.
I am stuck can anyone give some advice ?
Thanks.

Hi
I am using
Hikvision IVMS-4200 version 2.7
on a windows 10 pc.
I want to change the date format of the recordings from year/Month/Date
to the opposite way round
Date/Month/Year 25/01/2018.
I have found where to change the date format for
what is shown on the Live screen.
Can someone help with advice please ?
Thank You

iVMS-4200 NOT keeping Recorded Files for X days ??
in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Posted
Hiya,
I am running iVMS-4200 v2.7.2.4 on my pc.
I am running the storage server as well with 24TB of storage.
I have 4 cams
Frame rate is 15fps
video encoding is STD_H264
Bitrate Type is set at Variable to Max Bitrate 5120 kbps
Video Quality: Medium Resolution 2688*1520
File size per day is:52.0G reported in Remote Config
My problem is:
In the settings Storage Schedule>Recording Schedule>Advanced Settings>Keep Record Files for X days.
I can NOT change the value from 0.
As an example, if I put 10 days in then save the setting.
the software reverts it back to 0.
I am well aware that 0 represents use all available hard drive space up before over writing the oldest file.
Also, my recording does NOT extend beyond 6 days recording inside iVMS-4200.
yet if I use VLC Media player and play the recordings of the hard drive I can see the Time/Date
stamp on them from the last 25 days.
Can anyone explain what is going on here and how to Fix it?
Thanks
