  1. Taken from the manual of HDF1212 - CNB 4 Channel : "Audio Record: Select Audio Record option to record audio with video images. Audio will be recorded but it will not be synched with specific channels." I think this dvr can do that Bye
  2. Hi, how to trigger audio recording from an external microphone, only when there is a motion detection event, so that the dvr can record both audio and video of the scene ? Hope someone can help Thank You
  3. I'm looking for a dvr that can do that, probably it will be HDF1212 - CNB 4 Channel H.264 Digitial VIdeo Recorder Thank You

    CNB VCM-24VF vs. VBM-24VF

Very useful. Can I mount the VCM-24VF or VBM-24VF with this bracket http://www.cnbtec.com/en/html/product/product.php?seqx_prod=486 and without the back-box ?

    Sunell and Gkb

Can someone tell something about these two companies and respective product line ? Their products seem interesting. I'd like to hear some comments from people with direct personal experience. On paper Gkb products are very interesting. Bye
  6. I want to add a microphone to an outdoor analog cam. Where I can buy a suitable model for outdoor usage ? What prerequisite the camera should meet to support the microphone ? Thank You

    Add Microphone to outdoor cam

Thank You Scorpion, very helpful post. I'm new to the videosurveillance world, and especially of cabling. Good to know that with RG59 siamese wiring I have a combined cable for video and audio. Ideally, I want audio to be recorded only when there is a motion detection event, triggered by the camera, to avoid all the problems you described above related to audio recording. This is stuff that should be andled by the dvr ... Bye

    Add Microphone to outdoor cam

Thank You. My cameras should have some "special" input to add the audio channel ?
  12. Hi, Can someone give an advice on a analog videosurveillance solution with these components ? 1) A fixed outdoor, whaterproof (IP6X), vandalproof, IR dome with integrated audio. (extimated expense, around 150 dollars) 2) An Outdoor (IP6X) Ptz dome, to be used at night, possibly with integrated audio and Exview CCD (estimated expense, around 650 dollars) 3) 4 channel H264 Dvr without Dvd-r and without Hd (estimated expense, around 250 dollars) Thank You
  13. I have found all the listed Cnb components for a price lower than the one indicated above.
  14. I've found some online stores sell dvr without hd.
  15. HI Tom. Do you think that with Cnb S2265N Outdoor PTZ, Cnb VBM-24VF fixed dome, HDF1212 - CNB 4 Channel H.264 Dvr I'm building a good system ?
  16. I already have the necessary hd ...
  17. Hi, I have seen that on the web there are many store that resell many famous brands (Cnb, Bosh, Sanyo etc) of security products, but they are mainly on the Usa. Can someone tell me if there are some European resellers too, because I can't find nothing. (if it's not possible to post, please use pm)

    European Resellers

Italy, but if there's nothing in my country, it's ok from Germany, France or other countries in Europe.
  19. Hi, I'm fairly new of the video surveillance world, I was browsing Asmag site looking for ip ptz outdoor dome cameras, and I've looked at a few seller websites; for now I'm really impressed by the technical specs of Multipix and even their prices are very good. Can someone suggest other manufacturers that offer products with a good price/performance ratio I should concentrate to deploy their products ? (name a few). For example: Axis products have excellent technical quality, but their products are a bit priced.(Probably chinese products are unbeatable here...) Thank you in advance.
  20. This model is not outdor Their prices are super high. Multipix prices are much lower, and their specs impressing. I think Multipix is an Oem manufacturer from Honk Ong, but I never heard of them and in the forums there are very few comments about their products, so I'm looking for opinions about this company and maybe some other better producer.
