Exactly as 'tomcctv' mentioned, you can manage your DVRs using the CMS software (LAN) or xmeye.net (WAN)cloud.
-
Do you know the password of log in the DVR ?
- If not, you need to contact the DVR supplier for the super password and restore the DVR to factory settings.
- If you know the password, then you can log in the DVR (DVR connect to Monitor with VGA or HDMI interface ) and get into the main menu, there's usually an option of restore to factory settings, you just need to enable the option.
- If you cannot get in touch with the DVR supplier and don't know the psw, you may need to change a new DVR.

Recommend you to check with the DVR supplier about this.

If your network environment is good, no doubt to choose IP camera.

Yes, analog cameras can work perfectly in analog HD system.
Recommend you a very responsible and active supplier for cctv cameras/DVRs, SUNAN, their products are with good quality, and service is also awesome. The best supplier I've worked with over these years.

Better ask the Dahua customer support for a user guide, and follow the steps to finish the configuration. I work with SUNAN, and they're always responsive.
