can i connect the dvr to internet for some periode or only if i wanna see the camera?

cause in here i have limited quota (i.e 1 Gb / month)

and if i download something from internet, its say my ip address is downloading a file? (hmm.. i'm using shared ip address? and can i use it for the dvr connection? )

lets say i have put 250Gb in the dvr 776 and i want to save all the recorded data to my computer with 80Gb... can i ?

so i think you do not need to back up data regulerly (its wasting time and bored), back up only the important time... or if something happen only....

but one thing in my mind, the dvr 776 have harddisk slot removal with key right? maybe in computer store have the same slot removal that mach with it, so you can save the data inside the harddisk in the removal slot of dvr to the computer using the removal slot that you have buy.

I'm new to CCTV, so please pardon me if I ask some basic questions.

 

We have 4 shops, 3 shops are very close, we have installed 3 wired CCTV cameras, but 4th shop is little far away, almost 40 meters away, we can take wire there because its across the road, my central location where DVR is placed is in the basement, anybody can suggest me what is the best solution in this case?

you can use video sender, don't buy wireless camera set cause the distance only 20 meters. if the dvr in the basement you should (at least) use the video sender 2 watt (range up to 100 meters).

how can i connect the dvr 761 to internet?

should i use computer? or directly from dvr 761 to adsl modem?

and what should i type in the client computer? (ip of the dvr 760 or ip from isp ? )
