  1. IS there a firmware out for the DVR's mentioned in an other thread "DVMR-8CD and high res recording" they are manufactured in korea. It only allows one connection at a time with the current Firmware I have. Is there one out? Is it in the plans or is the design itself limited to one and won't be changed? [/img]

    More then one Connection

yep thats correct same user interface. too bad about that. Even something that knocks the previous logged in user would help. Just so that if i forget and leave it logged in one place i don't have to go back to the PC to be able to login from the other

    DVMR-8CD and high res recording

I had a nEverfocus on it before it was working ok on Port 80 This DVMR uses port 8000 as default. I cannot ping the machine either. It's a static IP too, it supposedly supports dynamic IP but I was never able to get it to work. With a static IP it doesn't work either unless its a 192.168 number.

    DVMR-8CD and high res recording

Did anyone get it to work hooked up directly to the high-speed modem? So far I've only been able to get it to work behind a router

    DVMR-8CD and high res recording

Avtech. i got a 4ch AVtech 780w and some of the buttons stop working i gotta reboot it then they work and then sometimes don't. would it be a defective unit or crappy firmware? --- Back to the Korean DVR, does it record at 720px or 360 resolution?

    DVMR-8CD and high res recording

They are calling it a Samsung but I think only the CD drive in that thing is a SAMSUNG as I cannot find the actual DVR on their site. GEN IV? lots of info on the specs except for what I need

    kodicom AVI backup

I was able to export now It outputs to 320x240, recording is set to 640x480 does the AVI output only support 320px? Thanks
  11. Anyone notice when exporting from the Diginet Center it makes an avi of couple of frames. 1 frame every 3 seconds or so. Does it make a difference which codec is used?

  14. I got a single channel Winfast Tuner card. When i hook up the quad to it all the channels have lots of noise. While hooked up to the TV they work fine. They are all wireless cameras. Also i noticed when i push the QUAD button to have all 4 up the quad seems to act funny and all the pictures are very fuzzy or barely seeable. Is it because i am using wireless ? The receivers are on the other side of the room. I also tried to bring them outside
  15. Are there any DVRs out there with built in CDRW that record uncompressed avi onto a CD. I've seen a few with CDRW's but they backup to some proprietary software which needs to be converted to AVI. Not trying to be fussy, but the police have had trouble with playing it back because they have to isntall the software etc. I would like uncompessed that way no need for a special codec hopefully and that way they won't complain it doesn't play back because they don't have the CODEC
  16. Right now i am using a DVMR-8. Korean made. Has no CDRW though. There is a similar model to this with CDRW built in but you need their player to play it back or convert to AVI. I was hoping there is something that writes AVI directly to the CDR without need for conversion. You're right i guess I could make an installer, for the codecs etc.
  17. oh yea and an other thing, should i put the Yagi on my transmitter or my receiver? where would it work better
